Tara is studying to get a PhD in Criminal Justice at the University of North Georgia with the aim of becoming a professor. With her father from India and her mother of Polish descent, Tara believes giving back and serving people of any background helps expand our horizons by learning from others. She worked closely with Professor Hume while as a graduate student at the University of North Dakota and is excited to assist in a variety of capacities for National Indigenous Justice Information Inclusion (NIJII). Her personal interests include caring for her dogs, spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
